Denise Miller


Denise Miller is an international storytelling artist, specializing in story and song from her Native and Celtic background. Her work has taken her across Canada and to England, Belgium, France, Australia, New Zealand, the USA as well as a couple of oceans. She has told stories floating on cruise ships, voyageur canoes, around campfires, on horse drawn wagons, and on trains across the Rocky Mountains.

Denise has provided award winning, local, national, and international radio journalism and produced a radio show giving voice to the stories of the native elders and spiritual leaders she met on her storytelling journeys. She has provided media coverage, had a column in a local newspaper and various articles in national, regional and local newspapers and magazines. She was awarded the 2004 -Eugene Steinhauer Award for “Outstanding Contribution to the
Advancement of Aboriginal Communications”
